How Much Does It Cost to Rent an Exotic Car in Miami?

What the daily rate actually covers, what changes it, and what you pay on top.

The honest answer is that it depends on the car and on how long you keep it — but the numbers are not a secret and you should not have to phone anybody to find out roughly where you stand. Every car on this site shows its own daily rate. Here is what sits around that number.

The daily rate

Each vehicle carries its own rate per day, and it is on the car’s page. The spread across a fleet like this is wide: a Corvette and a Rolls-Royce Cullinan are not the same proposition and are not priced as though they were. The rate is for a full day, and a day is a calendar day rather than a rolling twenty-four hours — if you are working to a tight schedule, say so when you book and we will work to the hours instead.

Longer bookings cost less per day

Anything longer than a single day automatically takes the multi-day rate, which is fifteen per cent off the daily. You do not need to ask for it and there is no code to enter. Longer again — a week, a month — comes down further; if that is what you want, tell us rather than multiplying the daily rate yourself, because the number you arrive at will be higher than the one we would quote you.

Sales tax

Florida sales tax is added to the rental portion of the booking. It is shown as its own line when you check your dates on a vehicle page, so the total you see is the total. The refundable deposit is not taxed, because it is not a charge — it is money we are holding.

The security deposit

A refundable security deposit is taken when the reservation is confirmed. It is held, not spent, and released within five business days of the car being inspected on its return. It is separate from the rental cost and it comes back to you. How much depends on the car, and the figure is shown before you commit to anything.

Mileage

100 miles a day are included. For most rentals that is comfortably enough — Miami Beach to Fort Lauderdale and back is under seventy. If you are planning something longer, a run to the Keys or up to Palm Beach and back more than once, tell us when you book. Additional miles are billed at a flat per-mile rate that is stated in your rental terms before you sign, and we would much rather adjust the allowance up front than surprise you afterwards.

Delivery

Delivery and collection across Miami-Dade and Broward is quoted with your reservation. It varies with distance — a Brickell handover and a West Palm Beach handover are not the same job — and you see the figure before you commit. Airport, hotel, residence and marina handovers are all routine.

What is not in the price

Fuel, if you bring it back lower than it left. Tolls, at cost, by plate. A cleaning charge only if the car comes back needing one — smoking, vaping and pets are not permitted and a deep clean is billed at $350. Late returns are billed by the hour up to a full extra day after four hours. None of these apply to most rentals, and all of them are avoidable.

What you actually pay, and when

No payment is taken through this website. You choose your dates, the site shows you the full breakdown — rental, tax, deposit — and you send the request. We call you back to confirm the car is free and to arrange payment properly. That is deliberate: it means nobody is entering card details into a form, and it means a person has looked at your booking before your money moves.

Common questions

Is the price on the website the price I pay?
Yes, for the rental itself. What you see when you pick your dates is the rental, the tax and the refundable deposit. Delivery is quoted separately because it depends where you are, and you will have that figure before you commit.
Do you charge more on weekends or during events?
Rates can move for the biggest weeks of the year, and if they have, the car’s page shows the current rate rather than an old one. What we will not do is quote you one number and produce a different one when you call.
Is there a cheaper way to do this?
Two. Book more than one day, because the multi-day rate applies automatically. And look at the cars people overlook — the Corvette and the German cars deliver most of the experience for a fraction of the Italian rates.
